Frequently asked questions
Anchored provides customized lifestyle support, home coordination, and task management. Services range from errands, scheduling, and vendor coordination to travel planning, returns management, paperwork organization, and second-home support.
Anchored serves Boston and the Greater Boston metro area, including the North Shore, with select availability extending into Southern New Hampshire, parts of Southern Maine, and Cape Cod. Additional locations may be available depending on scheduling and scope.
Yes. Anchored maintains appropriate insurance coverage for in-home support, errands, and coordination services. Details can be shared upon request.
Start by scheduling a complimentary consultation (in-home or virtual). After learning your priorities and preferred level of support, Anchored will recommend the best structure: à la carte, hour bundles, or a monthly retainer.
Anchored offers three ways to work together:
• À la carte hourly support
• Prepaid hour bundles
• Monthly retainers
Details are shared on the Packages & Rates page and confirmed during the consultation.
À la carte services are invoiced after services are completed. Hour bundles and monthly retainers are billed in advance. Invoices are paid by credit card.
No, Anchored’s hourly rate covers time and service only. Out-of-pocket expenses such as groceries, postage, shipping, parking, tolls, or supplies are billed separately and documented with receipts.
Anchored requires at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be billed.
Same-day requests may be available depending on scheduling. Availability is not guaranteed. Rush requests may be billed at a different rate.
Yes. Many clients choose consistent weekly support for errands, household coordination, and ongoing task management. Monthly retainers are available for clients who want reserved hours and priority scheduling.
Not necessarily. Many clients are not home during support hours. Access can be arranged through building staff, a lockbox, or other secure methods. If key access is requested, Anchored will review a simple key-handling process during onboarding.
Anchored is not a childcare service. However, limited support may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on the request, scheduling, and fit.
Anchored does not provide deep cleaning, medical care, medication handling, or contractor services. Any requests involving higher risk or specialized work are handled on a case-by-case basis or coordinated with the appropriate professional.
Anchored is built on discretion. Client information, home details, schedules, and personal requests are treated as strictly confidential.
Yes. Anchored offers gift certificates with a 2-hour minimum. After confirming scope and preferences, Anchored will coordinate directly with the gift recipient to schedule services.
